 [[Perenth]].  A town full of travelers and merchants.  As good a place as any to fit in and help people who will eventually flee here.  You look behind you toward the sea as you step off your ship, wrapped tightly in your heavy cloak.  No one recognized you the whole journey, as expected.  So far from home, from the demons, people here only feel the fear on the periphery of their senses.  They know something isn't right in the wind, the clouds, the way the storm is perpetually off the horizon, building.  You know the truth.  You know what is out there.  You think to yourself, "please, don’t let it come here..."
-Weary from the long travels it took you to find this place; you quickly go to the inn recommended to you by the kind captain.  You find the [[Maiden Mermaid]] with little trouble.  Inside, people are hushed and nervous, you recognize the symptoms.  Like frightened animals they cower together waiting for whatever doom is just outside their senses to move on or descend for the kill.  You find an empty table and wait for the bar tender's attention to drift your way.
