Sandaval is a mystic monk who runs the Simsoniya Monastery. She is very mysterious. She knows Queen Venia.
Thin and tall, wise grey eyes, grey hair with a long braid. Her entire face is covered in tattoos - around her eyes, her nose out, her chin and down her neck and onto her ears. She has patches all down the front, back, and sleeves of her robes. Her tattoos extend down to her hands.
During the ambush she kills two assailants with a single chop.
