The party arrived in Lomat after several days of travel. Firefist immediately sought out a tavern called the Pitiful Pixie. To his delight, wrestling matches were being fought inside. He signed up for a match fighting 10 of best dwarven fighters in the city.

Nobody thought he was going to win, so the odds were 200 to 1 in favor of the dwarves. Ver'zerra bet 2,000 gold on Firefist and used an illusion to disguise herself as a goliath to bet 1,000 more gold. When placing the bet as herself, a man commented that Ver'zerra was using her husband's money unwisely.

In an impressive feat of strength, Goliath overpowered all 10 dwarves and won the party 600,000 gold. Ver'zerra returned to the man who had insulted her and told him she was looking for a good night out and would be waiting at the Royal Rhino. The man meats her there and Ver'zerra went back to his mansion with him. She was in the middle of seducing him when, as planned, Firefist burst into the troop in a rage. Ver'zerra and Firefist managed to break a large number of valuable vases before fleeing the mansion.
