Queen's Request to Escort Avestralinn
This letter was received by the party on the 22nd day of Huy asking the party to meet in Sennter on the 25th of Huy and begin the trip to Cescen.
Enclosed in the letter was a small silver amulet with the Queen's signet.
The Letter
Loyal Friend,
I trust you found the equipment I intended for your use in the bureau. They shall aid you on your next journey. The King and Commander, Brax, has decided that the time has come for your mission to begin. In three days you are to meet on the shore of Sennter and travel together to the city of Cescen. There you shall meet with a woman and child. The woman's name is Kalixo and she will relinquish the child to you. You shall take the child by any route you deem safe and fit to the Simsoniya Monastery in the southern mountains of Feren 'Kat. Your mission shall be the protection and safe delivery of the child. You must not be seen, recognized or worse, captured by the Empire's forces. The child you shall be guarding is my daughter, Princess Avestralinn, the future Queen and Mother of our homeland. She is in very real danger indeed. You are our country's last hope and my heart is riding upon your success. Enclosed is a token of my appreciation.
