Assassination of King Brax

After the defeat of the Sa'Enkad forces at the Simsoniya Monastery, King Brax traveled to the monastery to retrieve Princess Avestralinn. Orst scouted ahead on Sharon to learn of the king's planned route to the monastery. Lem looked around and found the route of the previous invading force, and attempted to guess King Brax's route. The king could not travel the same path the party took as the bridge is out, but he could perhaps travel through the marshes, which would be very dangerous.

Trivel formulated a plan to assassinate King Brax using his talents as an assassin. His plan consisted of him wearing a Sa'Enkad uniform and, after killing the king, riding off on one of the nightmares he acquired from the Sa'Enkad forces. Sandaval spent most of her time brooding in her quarters.

An approaching enemy force set fire to the forest and the party set out to stop them. At the end of the battle, King Brax arrives.

Trivel makes himself and his nightmare invisible and flies up into the smoke cloud, marking King Brax as his target. As the battle winds down, Trivel flies above the king. Gwendolyn shouts about fake soldiers in the woods and when King Brax's troops turn and look. Trivel throws his assassin's dagger at the king and strikes him, killing him instantly.
